5. The “Predmer” (Bill of Quantities) - Site Simulation

6. Detailed SOPs: Execution by Element
6.1 The “Stolb” (Column) Protocol
Step 1: Scabbling (Hrapavenje)
- Before formwork, chip the concrete at the kicker (Nadzid) to remove “laitance” (cement scum).
- Surface must be rough (aggregate visible) for bonding.
Step 2: Rebar Cage & Starter Bars
- Check: Count the bars (8x fi16).
- Lap Length (Preklop): For fi16, Eurocode 8 says 60x diameter = 96cm. If the starter bar is only 50cm, FAIL.
- Stirrups (Uzengii): First stirrup must be 5cm from the bottom.
- Spacing: In the bottom 60cm of the column, spacing must be 10cm or less (Plastic Hinge Zone).
Step 3: Formwork (Šalung)
- Cleanout Window: Leave a small hole at the bottom to vacuum out sawdust. Close it just before pouring.
- Oil: Apply Oplatno maslo with a spray, not a brush (too thick = stains).
- Verticality: Check X and Y axis with Plumb Bob (Visak). Tolerance: +/- 5mm per 3m.
Step 4: Pouring
- Drop Height: Max 2.0m. If higher, use a tremie pipe.
- Vibration: 5-10 seconds per layer. Stop when bubbles stop rising.
- Top: Overfill by 2cm, then strike off later to remove scum.
6.2 The “Ploča” (Slab) Protocol
Step 1: Decking
- Props (Podupirači): Spacing 1.5m x 1.5m max.
- H20 Beams: Primary and Secondary.
- Plywood (Blažujka): Nail it down, but don’t bury the nail heads (need to remove them later).
Step 2: Rebar & Installations
- Electrical Boxes: Electrician nails boxes to the plywood.
- Sleeves (Otvori): Plumber puts PVC pipes for drainage passage.
- Foreman Check: Are the sleeves in the beam? CRITICAL ERROR. Do not put holes in beams without Engineer approval.
Step 3: “Jahači” (Chairs)
- Function: Holds the top mesh up.
- Risk: If workers walk on the mesh and it collapses, the slab loses strength (= Crack).
- Rule: 1 Chair per m2. “Ne štedi na jahači” (Don’t save on chairs).
Step 4: Concreting
- Laser Level: Set receiver at +0.00.
- Screeding: Use a 2m aluminum bar (Letva) or “Helicopter” (Duastar) power float for smooth finish.
- Cure: Spray water immediately after initial set (2-4 hours).
