Formation and practice
An economist by training, a structurer by record.
- The training
Economics with honours at the London School of Economics, then mathematical finance at the University of York, then a second postgraduate degree in financial engineering at WorldQuant University. An argument-first economics formation with two quantitative degrees built on top of it: the arithmetic behind every appraisal on this site is his own.
- The Gulf record
Since 2020, from Dubai, alongside private investment groups and independently: the evaluation, structuring and execution of transactions and investments exceeding USD 1.3 billion, including work within the DIFC and DFSA regulatory framework. The corridor this firm describes is not studied from a distance. He lives on it.
- The earlier mandates
Private equity advisory, research inside a regulated alternative-fund manager, and work across structured finance and public markets: underwriting, portfolio construction, pre-IPO capital restructuring and external credit assessment. The unglamorous seats where a young analyst learns what a file must survive.
- The structures
Formation and operational stewardship of investment structures domiciled across the DIFC, the Cayman Islands, the British Virgin Islands and Luxembourg: the regulators, the banks, the counterparties and the governance, held through the whole life of each vehicle rather than handed over at the door.

The duty is identical in each: appointed by the principal it serves, answerable to that principal, and to no other party in the transaction.
